All six renditions of “The Grind” are unique in their very own way, but when it comes to outright volume, track one is the one.

THE GRIND is the 10th new single from the upcoming new SPANKTHENUN album The Bunker Tapes VOL III (8/25 release date). Each month SPANKTHENUN has released a new single from the forthcoming album building to the official release of the new album.
THE GRIND focuses on the daily grind that sets in in our lives and in particular as it relates to the beginning of the worldwide pandemic. The track was written at the height of the pandemic when people were starting to feel trapped in their cages. The lyrics take aim at the haters and all the people who had something to say but no value to add to the conversation… “Locked down in quarantine and barely alive.”
As with each single, SPANKTHENUN has enlisted the talents of some of our favourite producers in the music business. Nine Inch Nails alum and producer to acts like Rob Zombie, Marilyn Manson, and Stabbing Westwards adds his signature touch in a rare full-out electro-industrial assault on the dance floor. SPANKTHENUN then returns the opening salvo with their re-interpretation of the Vrenna—actually several re-interpretations of the track.
Der Prosector came out of a short hiatus to create their electro-dance masterpiece that will be a sure-fire favourite for many fans. The track gets the full Der Prosector treatment with a mix from the legend himself Jules Seifert (PIG, C-Tec and many more).
Another massive addition to this maxi-single comes from :waijdan: delivering an epic track that builds the tension to a huge bombastic payoff that will fill the dance floor when it hits.

THE GRIND konzentriert sich auf den Alltag, der sich in unserem Leben einsetzt, und insbesondere in Bezug auf den Beginn der weltweiten Pandemie. Die Spur wurde auf dem Höhepunkt der Pandemie geschrieben, als sich die Menschen in ihren Käfigen gefangen fühlten. Die Texte zielen auf die Hasser und all die Leute ab, die etwas zu sagen hatten, aber keinen Wert dem Gespräch hinzuzufügen hatten… “In Quarantäne eingesperrt und kaum noch am Leben.”
Wie bei jeder Single hat SPANKTHENUN die Talente einiger unserer Lieblingsproduzenten in der Musikbranche angeworben. Nine Inch Nails Alum und Produzent von Acts wie Rob Zombie, Marilyn Manson und Stabbing Westwards fügt seine charakteristische Note in einem seltenen vollwertigen elektroindustriellen Angriff auf die Tanzfläche hinzu. SPANKTHENUN gibt dann die Eröffnungs salvo mit ihrer Neuinterpretation der Vrenna zurück – eigentlich mehrere Neuinterpretationen des Tracks.
Der Prosector kam aus einer kurzen Pause heraus, um ihr Elektro-Dance-Meisterwerk zu kreieren, das für viele Fans ein absoluter Favorit sein wird. Der Track erhält die volle Der Prosector-Behandlung mit einer Mischung aus der Legende selbst Jules Seifert (PIG, C-Tec und viele mehr).
Eine weitere massive Ergänzung zu dieser Maxi-Single kommt von :waijdan: Liefert einen epischen Track, der die Spannung zu einer riesigen bombastischen Auszahlung aufbaut, die die Tanzfläche füllen wird, wenn sie trifft.
