Metalcore shooting stars BREATHE ATLANTIS release their fifth single / video 'Break The Silence' from the upcoming studio album "Overdrive", out on March 18th, and impressively show why the band is no friend of silence and why they went to war against themselves:
"In Break The Silence we mercilessly reckon with our past. For us, the song is a catharsis of all the things inside of us that have held us back too many times, and it's a turning point from stagnation and passivity. In the past we often got in our own way trying to express ourselves and we also let to many people tell us what to do. This has come to an end and the brutality and rawness of the song shows the inner struggle to finally break away from all the bad habits and speak for ourselves", explains guitarist Jan Euler
With 'Break The Silence' the quartet shows again a high quality in songwriting and delivers once again an earworm to sing along to the metal community. The voice of singer Nico Schiesewitz sounds much rougher and more mature than on the previous album and is bursting with energy and pure emotion.
The album "Overdrive", already announced for March 18, is eagerly awaited and after successful five single releases in the run-up, the next long-player of the Essen band should convince even the last metal critic.

Following their last release "Soulmade", their new style relies more on big, heavy riffs and driving, powerful drums. Nico Schiesewitz's relentless, bone-sawing shouts make you cringe until the stadium chorus hits you right in the pit of your stomach. BREATHE ATLANTIS have matured like good wine: catchy songs that encourage sing-alongs, brutal mosh parts, and refreshingly honest lyrics that don't sugarcoat anything are the product of a 2-year writing and studio phase, with the result that "Overdrive" will be a milestone for BREATHE ATLANTIS.

Metalcore-Schnuppenstars BREATHE ATLANTIS veröffentlichen ihre fünfte Single / Video "Break The Silence" vom kommenden Studioalbum "Overdrive", das am 18. März erscheint, und zeigen eindrucksvoll, warum die Band kein Freund des Schweigens ist und warum sie gegen sich selbst in den Krieg gezogen sind:
"In Break The Silence rechnen wir gnadenlos mit unserer Vergangenheit. Für uns ist das Lied eine Katharsis all der Dinge in uns, die uns zu oft zurückgehalten haben, und es ist ein Wendepunkt von Stagnation und Passivität. In der Vergangenheit haben wir oft versucht, uns auszudrücken, und wir lassen uns auch vielen Menschen sagen, was wir tun sollen. Dies ist zu Ende gegangen und die Brutalität und Rohheit des Liedes zeigt den inneren Kampf, sich endlich von all den schlechten Gewohnheiten zu lösen und für uns selbst zu sprechen", erklärt Gitarrist Jan Euler
Mit "Break The Silence" zeigt das Quartett wieder eine hohe Qualität im Songwriting und liefert erneut einen Ohrwurm, um der Metal-Community mitzusingen. Die Stimme des Sängers Nico Schiesewitz klingt viel rauer und reifer als auf dem vorherigen Album und strotzt vor Energie und purer Emotion.
