Blood Moon Wedding – Blood Moon Wedding: An American Nightmare
Each song is strikingly relatable
I am incredibly excited to introduce you to the anticipated album from Steve Lake and Mia Dean, known collectively as Blood Moon Wedding. Before I had heard this beautiful work of art, I was familiar with Steve’s music from the band Zounds but hadn’t heard anything from Mia until now.

From the moment “play” was pressed, I was astounded by their captivating tunes that can be described as crisp and moody. Their vocal performance was seamless – Steve delivering a powerful narrative style reminiscent of the late Mark E Smith and Mia captivating with her velvety vocals.

The lyrics are unparalleled in delivery, tackling complex topics in today’s American society. Each song is strikingly relatable, perfectly intertwining pain and pleasure.

My experience listening to the album has been one of pure elation and bliss. This record will definitely make its way onto my top ten list by the end of 2023.

If you are searching for something special, look no further than this album by Steve Lake and Mia Dean – Blood Moon Wedding. You won’t be disappointed.
