SO DARK, SO INCREDIBLY BRILLIANT
I am not ashamed to say that I have been a massive fan of A Cloud Of Ravens since I first heard them. The Vocals sung by Matt are just brilliant, so dark and pure goth. The guitaring of Beth is perfect, and they complement each other so well. Together they create a magical goth sound that is so true to what goth sound is.
“The Blackest Mantra” is absolutely no exception; it is so dark and incredibly brilliant. You know this will be special from the intro of the drums, then the vocals kick in, and boom, you are hooked.
Lyrically again, this is poetry; they are dark but somehow uplifting, but this is what A Cloud Of Ravens do, and they do it exceptionally well, with dark sounds that somehow lift you.
I am looking forward to hearing the Album now as this is a given that it will be brilliant and not disappoint.
