Too Dead To Die
– In the Dark
Label: Out Of Line Music
Released: 5 August 2022
Too Dead To Die has merged the genres to create an incredibly fantastic sound that will have even the most lightweight want to dance.
The beats of the industrial with have you moving in no time, but then the synthpop melodies mixed with outstanding vocals will make you unstoppable.
This is a great EP worthy of any collection and dancefloor.
Be warned that you must get up and move to these beats. They are addictive.
An excellent release by Too Dead To Die.
THUMPING
After the exotic-electronic album "Tropical Gothic", the journey through sunny climes is far from over. TDTD continue cruising through the tropics and the Caribbean, bouncing sunny vibes into an electronic industrial-pop setting. Join the aftershow party at the end of the world: beach bar, cocktails, and freedom - yet with a hint of darkness wafting over the beach. This new EP includes b-sides from the second album, "Tropical Gothic", and it's called “In The Dark” because it mainly contains synthpop songs mixed with industrial.Andrey from TDTD comments on each song in his own words:
1. IN THE DARK [B-SIDE]
industrial and gothic parties were a huge part of my early twenties. We were dancing to sad or aggressively sad songs, we were connected, and it was making us happy. It's that vibe.
2. THEY ALL WERE WRONG
you already know this song. Go hard and believe in yourself. Shut the fuck up, people around. Prove they all were wrong.
3. TROPICAL GOTHIC [X-VERSION]
The radio version of my main single for the second album.
4. PORCELAIN MARY
this song also was on the album. But I wanted people to see it one more time. I love it so much. I think it deserves more attention. I got the idea of this song when I saw the news about drug dealers using porcelain mary to carry cocaine hidden inside - isn't it a great metaphor for human nature?
One man, one vision: Six years after the debut "Murder On The Dancefloor“ had set the discos on fire, Too Dead To Die returned with the current album "Tropical Gothic“, beats for sweaty dances all night long and melodies adding some Caribbean flair to the classic Too Dead To Die sound. Between EDM and industrial, "Tropical Gothic“ sounds like the longing for distant places and tropical islands.
