The Bleak Assembly – We Become Strangers
WONDERFULLY POST-PUNK WITH A DARKWAVE FEEL
OOh, I do love my music, and when something comes along like this, I get very excited.

This is an excellent EP from The Bleak Assembly; I would add to the write-up below that there is a fantastic hint of The Cure in here too.

The vocals, as always from Kimberely, are excellent. The melodies with the classic post-punk synths are beautiful. Each track flows incredibly well.

These tracks are all wonderfully post-punk but have a darkwave feel that excites me. It is so good when bands like this put out such great music.

“Fragile Like Glass” makes me think of Johnny Marr, but that may only be an opinion and view I hold. I love this track so much.

Lyrically the tracks have all been well written and touch on subjects we can probably all relate to.

Give this EP a go. I assure you it will grow on you.

Can you help us?

Here at Darker Side of Music, we aim to bring Artists to more people giving them as much exposure as possible. We also are independent and are in no way supported by any Label.

Artists today have struggled to keep their art going for a long time, especially in the genres that we love and try to help. We are also in the same boat. We fight to survive if you use our site in any way and feel you can help us with the high running costs. Please think about supporting us so we can continue to help those artists that give us incredible enjoyment from what they create.

We all have something in common our love of music.
