This album from PiG is such a powerful album, and it is an album that has everything right. From the intense, dark vocals to the superb melodies that flow perfectly throughout.
Mona Mur – Snake Island (Release/Review)
So you want new music, something fresh, then Mona Mur’s “Snake Island” is for you. It is fresh and not like anything else out there. Mona has essences of the great Marianne Faithful in that she can go from almost tear-jerking to almost angry in a few songs.
Weimar – Dancing On A Volcano (Release/Review)
I hear essences of the late Mark E. Smith from The Fall, Angelic Upstarts ballads and even as far as memories of “The Gift” from the Velvet Underground.
