This is a great rock album, from the slow ballads to the racing, blood-pumping riffs in other tracks.
The track “Fools Gold” is an excellent example of heavy rock, but more than that, it’s so melodic, with great riffs and powerful vocals.
There are so many great tracks on this album that are noteworthy, but you need to experience them to appreciate what Burn The Sun has genuinely created.
An album that offers so much for all fans of rock genres.
METAL GOLD
Greek atmospheric heavy rock Burn The Sun present their debut album Le Roi Soleil. It’s a culmination of the work done on their previous releases, each time trying to capture their current musical identity. They entered Unreal Studios in Athens in the Spring of 2018 in order to distil their experiences and evolving musical influences into one singular musical vision.
Four years of experimentation and trial and error led Burn The Sun to the creation of nine songs with leaden atmospheres, intricate riffs, searing leads, psychedelic breaks and passionate vocals taking inspiration from a wide range of music, from Pink Floyd, Led Zeppelin and other bands that exemplify the ethos of the 60s and 70s to modern metal bands with unique voices like Mastodon, Opeth and Alice in Chains. With the help of Alex Ketenjian (Planet of Zeus, Vodka Juniors, Puta Volcano) in the role of producer and Maor Appelbaum (Faith No More, Yes, Meatloaf, Starset, Eric Gales) as the master engineer all of these elements come together to create the ambitious sounds of Le Roi Soleil.
Der griechische atmosphärische Heavy Rock Burn The Sun präsentieren ihr Debütalbum Le Roi Soleil. Es ist ein Höhepunkt der Arbeit, die an ihren früheren Veröffentlichungen geleistet wurde, jedes Mal, wenn sie versuchen, ihre aktuelle musikalische Identität einzufangen.
