RAW GOTHIC INDUSTRIAL
The first time I heard of this Industrial Goth style was in my teens. The band was the amazing Cabaret Voltaire. I purchased the Album “Drinking Gasoline”. This EP from Silence Embrace reminds me so much of that first time and is chilling. The shivers go down my spine.

The raw gothic industrial energy running through the tracks is so incredible.

The title track is instrumental that leads the downright incredible “Someone’s Dead”, and this track is so damn good. The distorted possessed vocals that include samples from various sources add to that sense of urgency and frustration.

The theme is almost the frustration of not knowing what is going on and the confusion that runs through your head of not knowing where to turn.

All this culminates in the final track, another instrumental called “Pandemic”, that leaves you wondering what is next on this journey.

Once you start listening, let the story unfold and enter the world of Silence Embrace.

Can you help us?

Here at Darker Side of Music, we aim to bring Artists to more people giving them as much exposure as possible. We also are independent and are in no way supported by any Label.

Artists today have struggled to keep their art going for a long time, especially in the genres that we love and try to help. We are also in the same boat. We fight to survive if you use our site in any way and feel you can help us with the high running costs. Please think about supporting us so we can continue to help those artists that give us incredible enjoyment from what they create.

We all have something in common our love of music.
