BELLHEAD Reveal New Video For Threats, Release Expanded Vinyl Edition Of Their Album, And Announce Tour Dates
Bellhead – Video Premiere
Chicago’s shadow‑drenched bass‑driven duo BELLHEAD returns this summer with a triple‑strike of new releases and continued live momentum. On June 24th, the band unveils the official music video for “Threats (If I Can’t Break Your Heart)”, a stark and unsettling visual companion to one of their most compelling tracks. The video heightens the band’s reputation for blending minimalism, menace, and emotional weight into something unmistakably their own.
The “Threats” video premiere comes on the heels of the band’s long‑anticipated release of Threats, on distinct yellow vinyl. Crafted for collectors and audiophiles alike who’ve been waiting to experience BELLHEAD’s bass assault in its purest form. To complete the trifecta, the band is embarking on a run of late‑summer and fall tour dates, bringing their dark, high‑intensity performances back to the road.
“Threats” was directed by John Weaver, who has been behind the camera for several of the band's other multiple award nominated videos. The track was engineered by Neil Strauss and mastered by Carl Saff while featuring Wes Hayden and Kevin Epperson accompanying the band in the video. With the change in album artwork that finally saw Karen Righeimer-Schock and Ivan Russia show the faces behind the music, the accompanying video for “Threats” also drops their masks and places them front and center.
The Limited Vinyl release of Threats expands the original release with additional tracks and remixes from both veteran Industrial heavyweights and rising stars. Stabbing Westward’s Christopher Hall brings a high‑energy club mix featuring his own vocal contribution, while longtime Stabbing Westward partner Walter Flakus delivers a new take on the 2022 anthem “Nothing as it Seems.” Two of the scene’s current breakout names, ClubDrugs and Frontal Boundary, deconstruct “Heart Shaped Hole” and “Shutters + Stutters” respectively. BELLHEAD also revisit their own catalog with a fresh mix of “Drugstore Keri,” the coda track from 2023’s Good Intentions EP.
