Astari Nite have just released their new EP “Medications In Bloom” this 6 track EP is an absolute personal statement that I feel many can relate to.
The style of this EP hits home combining the style of many dark wave/goth bands all combined into Astari Nite’s incredible music.
Each song marks another moment in the song writers life (Mychael Ghost).
The beautiful story telling in this EP is created in such a great way. From the first track all the way through to the final track.
Track 3 “Lennon Yellow Tangerine” is such a gem in its melody and lyrics. There is so much emotion not only in the lyrics but in the music too with added distortion bringing all the song together in perfect ways of atmospheric bliss it really is. You will be taken in by this track as with the whole EP but this track just has it all.
Track 6 “I lack Nutrition” has many influences you can clearly hear, ill leave that for you to your thoughts but this track is such a chilling end to the EP it can send shivers up your spine with its lyrics and vocal style combined with the melody once again Astari Nite have hit the right chord in this incredible track and overall amazingly fantastic classic EP.
If you like traditional pure dark wave/goth music then this is for you do not miss out on listening to this EP, “Medications In Bloom” is an absolute gem of an EP.

Commenting on the Eps title, vocalist, Mychael Ghost reveals:
“My mother has not been doing well for quite some time. My life for the past four and a half years consists of doctor visits, chatting with nurses, buying her flowers that make me sneeze, my mind wandering about childhood memories while holding her hand. Nevertheless, whenever her prescription is re-filled, I’m quickly notified. One day I received that reassuring alert and thought to myself, YAY, “Medications In Bloom” again.”
