Then comes silence – hunger
THIS IS REAL GOTHIC/POST-PUNK
Swedish Post-punk gothic band Then Comes Silence has released their new album “Hunger”, a pure music fest of fine pedigree. It has hints of Echo and The Bunnymen, Siouxsie and the Banshees, and so many other class goth bands throughout the album. Each track embodies the perfect mix of these elements plus The Comes Silences’ signatures and the brilliant vocals of Alex Svenson ( we interviewed him recently as Neopocolypse).

The lyrics are written to try a more positive outlook on our current world. Seeing what is happening may bring us to realise that change can come from these situations that may be for the better.

Do not always look for a bad outcome. Try to see positives from the negatives, even if that may be hard to see. Then Comes Silence tries to help us through this.

So that being said, the album has something for everyone and is worth listening to as this truly is a talented and brilliant band..

SUPERB

As tortured artists release introspective, doom-laden, pandemic-obsessed new material, Swedish gothic post-punk band Then Comes Silence is heroically swimming against the tide, eyes set firmly towards the light at the end of the tunnel. This album HUNGER is Then Comes Silence, throwing a rock and roll lifeline, challenging the prevailing mood, bringing energy & passion into the new changed world

Can you help us?

Here at Darker Side of Music, we aim to bring Artists to more people giving them as much exposure as possible. We also are independent and are in no way supported by any Label.

Artists today have struggled to keep their art going for a long time, especially in the genres that we love and try to help. We are also in the same boat. We fight to survive if you use our site in any way and feel you can help us with the high running costs. Please think about supporting us so we can continue to help those artists that give us incredible enjoyment from what they create.

We all have something in common our love of music.
