Null Device
– The Emerald Age
Released: 4 November 2022
Null Device’s eighth album, "The Emerald Age," finds the band moving into darker, more cinematic territory that is clearly showcased in the video for "Snake Eyes." While Null Device have never been strangers to melancholy, the events of the last few years have imbued their work with a more focused sense of sadness and rage. "The Emerald Age" explodes with synthpop hooks that collide with aggressive Berlin-influenced beats, propulsive body music bass, symphonic orchestration, and moody atmospherics. Oblique lyrical metaphors contrast direct subject matter. It’s opinionated and forthright while simultaneously catchy and engaging; "The Emerald Age" is at once contemplative and profound, while still being fun and danceable. "The Emerald Age" was released today by Distortion Productions on CD and is available via all streaming and digital platforms.

Can you help us?
Here at Darker Side of Music, we aim to bring Artists to more people giving them as much exposure as possible. We also are independent and are in no way supported by any Label.
Artists today have struggled to keep their art going for a long time, especially in the genres that we love and try to help. We are also in the same boat. We fight to survive if you use our site in any way and feel you can help us with the high running costs. Please think about supporting us so we can continue to help those artists that give us incredible enjoyment from what they create.
We all have something in common our love of music.
