Mesage From The Band
PLEASE NOTE: As we have just received the news of our dear friend and Zwaremachine drummer Bas Mercx/Dein Offizier passing on after his long battle with serious health issues, we are not “going on as usual” with these releases and performances. We are in shock and deeply saddened for his loss. All of these things were already planned and discussed with him in recent months. Bas stated that we must continue on no matter what happens and with his strength and memory we will somehow get through this for now and determine the future of the band at a later date. So, for now, we will honor him and try to bring some relief to his many friends, fans and family who are grieving with us. Thank you for your support and understanding.
*** UPDATE ***
Update: the proceeds from the new Zwaremachine single will be donated to the Dutch foundation Hematon on behalf of Bas Mercx . Hematon is a patient organization for people with a hemato-oncological condition.
