Special Duties were formed in October 1977 by Steve Green (Aka Arrogant), Steve Norris (Aka Duty) and Nigel Baker. Hailing from Colchester, Essex the band was inspired by the first wave of British and American Punk bands such as: Sex Pistols, Ramones, The Adverts and The Boys
