Blooding Mask
– Autopsy Of A Dream

Released: 5 June 2022

blooding mask – autopsy of a dream
powerful vocals combined with diverse melodies
Blooding Mask released their new album “Autopsy Of A Dream,” which is a very different album from others that I have recently listened to.

It is very haunting with its powerful vocals combined with diverse melodies that are at times haunting and leave you with chills down your spine.

The vocal range and change in style by singer Maethelyiah is imposing from quiet and soothing to almost operatic and, at times, spine chilling.

So take the challenge, embark on a journey of unexpected twists, and get this album. It is a great album and well worth adding to your collection.

BLOODING MASK RELEASE “AUTOPSY OF A DREAM” IN CELEBRATION OF 30 YEARS OF MUSIC AND ESOTERICISM.

Esoteric electronic project Blooding Mask announce imminent presale of  ‘Autopsy of a Dream’, the 5th studio album which is due to be released on the 10th September’s full moon. The album will seal the 30 year anniversary of what turned from a one woman band into currently a duo featuring Maethelyiah and Paul Nash, founder of The Danse Society.

Just like the previous albums, “Autopsy of a Dream” introduces tracks ranging between, and merging, electronica, industrial, symphonic, classical, apocalyptic pop and esoteric prog. Hard to categorise the tracks feature mainly strong atmospheric synths, Paul’s legendary guitars as well as Maethelyiah’s trademark vocal multi octave choirs and tribal drums. Some sonic experiments are also present, evoking powerful images for the public to see and interpret. The track “L’Incubo” is also on the main score of Italian film “Upside Down” directed by Luca Tornatore. The album has so far been described as a ‘symphony of horror’ and also as ‘a selection of incredible songs from The Tower of Babel’ (due to the multiple languages used on the tracks).

The previous albums have been compared to Kate Bush, Dead Can Dance, Diamanda Galas and Annie Lennox, however none of these singers sound like the others.

It’s a riddle and the answer is in the 17 tracks of “Autopsy of a Dream”.
